of
Senator Manny Villar in 2010. As such, I’m deleting all entries that has to do with him.

  2. Yeah! I believe you're way too decent to be campaigning for someone like Villar. The country doesn't need a leader like him. His double entry projects must be exposed and Villar must answer for those crimes.

  3. Right on! You're correct in doing that. But who will it be now? Noynoy Aquino? Better not. He's a nincompoop! It's like jumping from the frying pan direct to the fire.

  4. Of course not Noynoy Aquino. I agree with Dimasalang that Noynoy Aquino is a nincompoop. And a political opportunist too. Taking advantage of the death of his mother to advance his political interests. That's too much.

  5. If you're thinking of throwing your support to Noynoy Aquino, better think twice. Remember the massacres of Mendiola and Lupao (and Hacienda Luisita), the daily brownouts, the numerous putsch, the economic crisis, the labor strikes, the unending welga ng bayan, the mass killings of activists and many more. All these under the watch of the late Corazon Aquino, his mother.

  6. Just like any other politicians, They are all after how to make more money in a disguise of Public Service. Why spend Billions for a monthly salary of PhP 70K? Can anyone enlighten?

    1. This is the most intelligent post I have ever read in all the political blogs I've been in. Tama ka, Toto Antonio. Why spend billions for a measly 70k salary? Public service? More like graft and corruption.

So what do we do? Con-con. Emasculate government. Don't make it profitable for them to be in public office. There are ways to do that.

  7. You're for Aquino then? It figures, you're just like the rest. Go on, the bandwagon's waiting.

  9. as per PSE.COM, Villar's company is earning araound 2billion a year. I guess that explains where the funds are coming from. So whether he wins or not, alam natin na hindi na siya kailangan magnakaw. sa lahat naman ng sinabi sa kanya, walang napatunayan. Sino matinong maniniwala k Lacson? or Jamby?

    1. Loyola: Yes, I did hear Vista Land went public already. As to the annual earnings, I’m not privy to that so I can’t comment. Maybe all Villar needs is to come clean, come to the senate ethics hearing and answer all questions once and for all to dispel all clouds of doubt. That way, it would be easy to move forward with his campaign. Otherwise, that C5 issue will hound his campaign and rob him of his presidential dream.

  12. Now is the time to think if who is the right person to manage our country. I stand for Manny Villar because he has the experience and track record and personal experience from rags to riches story. What we need is someone who can manage well and lead us to prosper. We have plenty of laws but still its not enough, All we need is a good management.

  16. Good management? Villar? He built a fucking extension road from c5 to his house/properties hahahaha! Gosh I don’t know what’s going to happen to us the minute he becomes President!

HAHA he’s a business man. He’s spending billions on elections because he knows he’ll get billions back — as easy as that.

He does low cost housing as well. His “riches” came from the poor, and do you think he’s about to give it back? OH PLEASE

Why vote for a showbiz-y president. He won’t do everything he’s envisioned. Give yummy food to all filipinos? YEAH RIGHT

  22. For the Philippines to move forward, integrity must be the yardstick for the presidentiables – anyone with dubious character should be out. We have had a share of Marcos' and Arroyo's brilliance but what have they done to the country?
There have been brickbats against Estrada but the electorate still voted for him. And so what happened? The same possibility is strong in a Villar presidency and people have been warned. The trouble is those who will suffer are not only those who will vote for him but everyone, including myself who have been all my life against the charlatans in the government and Villar is the biggest of them all. If Villar wins and the Philippines goes to its toboganning ride, I can't just say to the Filipinos serve you right because that rebounds to me as well.

About Me
Cecilia Regina Aquino Blanquera Marmol aka RJ Marmol profile picture

I’m RJ Marmol — writer, musician, and independent creator based in Manila.

I write songs, essays, and books about the messy overlap between money, overwhelm, creativity, identity, and rebuilding. Much of my work circles around what happens when life stops feeling manageable — and how we try to think clearly, make decisions, and keep moving anyway.

I’m also the author of Rebuilding Under Debt: Thinking Clearly When Everything Is a Blur, a nonfiction book published under Steady Hand Press. The paperback edition is listed under my full publishing name, Cecilia Regina Aquino Blanquera.

On the music side, I release work as HeyRJ. On the writing side, this site is where I gather my books, essays, notes, and whatever I’m building next.

Music

HeyRJ is my sonic soul project. I create raw, minimalist-style and deeply personal music interpretations that feel like a late-night conversation with your truest self.

By blending lo-fi acoustic textures with poetic honesty, my work explores love, loss, grief, healing, and the quiet in-betweens of life. Each song is a letter — a journal entry — a gentle companion for when the world feels too loud or too quiet.

While my catalogue began with intimate cover renditions, my work is increasingly being shaped by original writing, drawing from years of poems, lived questions, and emotional survival.

“Stuck Home Syndrome” released on March 20, 2026 is my first original 20-track album written during a period when time felt compressed and days began to blur into each other. The songs came from sitting with thoughts that had nowhere else to go — unfiltered, repetitive, and sometimes uncomfortable. It’s a concept album that isn’t built around singles or polish. It’s closer to a continuous inner monologue, recorded with minimal production and very little ornamentation and meant to be listened to as one cohesive body of work. The goal wasn’t to resolve anything, only to document how it felt while it was happening.

On May 29, 2026 I released new original singles – “Rapturous”, “Uh Huh”, “Look At You”, “All That” and “Blew Print”. I continue to release both original and cover songs and intend to so for as long as I can so check back every once in a while — you might. just find something you’ll like.

Books

Rebuilding Under Debt: Thinking Clearly When Everything Is a Blur

A nonfiction book about what debt does to the mind — and how to begin functioning again when financial stress has made everything feel blurred, urgent, and overwhelming.

Rather than treating debt only as a financial math problem, the book explores the emotional and cognitive realities of financial distress: shame, decision fatigue, avoidance, panic, relationship strain, and the difficulty of making sound decisions while mentally depleted.

Published under Steady Hand Press. It’s available worldwide in ebook and paperback formats on Amazon. Bookstores and libraries can also be order it wholesale via Ingram.
