Can’t wait to use this feature and see how this affects the future of radio, audio blogging apps like ZCast, Anchor and Bubbly and if indeed the future of tech is in voice all along.
It’s under beta testing and expected to roll out publicly early 2017.

Facebook Live Notification Just Became Intrusive: Live Video now pops-up and autoplays while you browse your feed (because OMG one of your friend is livestreaming and it immediately becomes the most important thing in the world at that moment!
Facebook probably thinks that checking these videos in our own time is a luxury we no longer deserve these days! Ugh.
Look, I’m all for notifications. I get that. Video is live. It’s a Facebook friend. But don’t push it too hard on me. Notifying me via a pop-up banner is enough. You don’t need to play the video in my face while I’m doing other things.
Plus, who’s to say that crazy people won’t abuse this? Who’s to stop someone from doing something offensive or insensitive or inappropriate via Facebook Live video? And I don’t even have a say whether I see it or not because Facebook shoves it in my face like I don’t have freewill or something. What is the purpose of the autoplay anyway? To jack up video count/plays? Whatever their reason, I don’t like it — and this is coming from someone who’s been on Facebook for a long time yet never really joined the “I hate Facebook, I’m quitting Facebook” bandwagon. I’ve been pretty flexible, adaptable and tolerant with all the changes that happened over the years but this one is just too much.
Has this ever happened to you or is it just me? If this hasn’t happened to you, could it be a bug/isolated and temporary issue that I just happened to come across?
Kailijumei Flower Lipstick | Facebook Live Unboxing Review
Hey guys! I just got my hands on these Kailijumei Flower Lipsticks I ordered from my supplier and I was super excited to open and try it. I’ve been looking for these here in the Philippines but I’ve never managed to find them here so I decided to source them out myself and sell them to others like me who want to try this.
*Note: This is a product review and givewaway for Life & Food Garcinia Cambogia Supreme 80% HCA. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review which you will find below.*
Life & Food’s Garcinia Cambogia Supreme 80% HCA contains 180 Capsules containing 80% HCA and 1400 mg servings. Most brands only have 1000mg servings. This is the highest HCA concentration Garcinia Cambogia product in the market today that has been completely third-party tested and verified for HCA standardization.
Compared to many similar garcinia cambogia products out there, this one claims to have used only premium quality extracts containing hydroxycitric acid (HCA) produced from choice Indian and Asian Garcinia Cambogia fruit rind of the highest quality possible.
Life & Food also attests that this product has “NO SOY, NO ADDITIVES, NO STIMULANTS, OF PURE QUALITY and absolutely NO fillers, NO soy, WHEAT, eggs, fish, stimulants or any additives.”
BUT HOW EXACTLY DOES IT MAKE YOU LOSE WEIGHT?
Well, it burns fat. According to Life & Food, “HCA is the key component reduces glucose absorption there by leading to fat reduction for those with high glucose levels. We’ve formulated to optimal dosage helps suppress the appetite while burning fat. It has also shown to improve blood lipid leves, help reduce fate production, curb emotional eating and help improve mood by raising the “feel good” hormone serotonin. It is clinically proven to block the stress hormone cortisol, too.”
I tried it the day I received it and took the suggested 4 capsules max (2 capsules 30 minutes before my first meal and 2 capsules again 30 minutes before my last meal. The few times I forgot to take it before my last meal, I decided to take them before bedtime.
I had no struggle whatsoever in terms of taking it because I didn’t experience anything different — no apparent or perceived side effects. So I thought I’d keep taking it to see if my body’s reaction changes. Two, three, five days past and nothing seemed off or achy in my body.
What I did notice was how I ate less and less probably because of the appetite-suppressant effect. I’d try to eat my usual portion but would feel full 2/3 into it. During the times I’m busy on my PC, I even forget to eat on time because I wouldn’t experience the usual hunger my body clock has been used to.
I also noticed feeling more energized and alert throughout the day — this one must be due to the serotonin level boost that causes one to be in a better mood. Studies have shown how mood affects our eating habits and how we perceive the need to eat food. Girls on their periods can relate to this, I’m sure.
As for the weight loss, after a week or so, I did notice a little weight loss of 2 lbs — which is a feat, considering I’ve never lost weight with the previous similar product I’ve tried and that I didn’t really change my diet and didn’t exercise at all.
Right now, since everything seems to be going well, I’ll just keep at it and see how much weight I might possibly lose. I’ll put in a little effort this time by watching my diet and doing a bit of exercise.
As with all products, first consult your doctor before trying them out. Results may vary from person to person. Not for pregnant and lactating mothers.

Sync and charge cables are probably the most used and abused phone accessory. Even headsets don’t come close to it when run through the “abused-and-taken-for-granted” meter!
And if you’re like me, you probably use it more than once or twice a day. I charge a minimum of 4 times a day because I’m currently addicted to Smule’s Sing! app and it only takes minutes before I drain my phone battery. So you can just imagine how overworked my charging cable is! A few days before, I’ve been getting this “incompatible accessory” warning when I plug it into an outlet which pretty much means, something inside is starting to get screwed up because I’m using Apple’s stock iPhone 5 cable charger.
And how convenient that a Candywirez Lightning Sync and Charge cable just came through the mail a few days ago! Although my cable is far from broken, just iffy I guess, it’s an opportune time to let it rest for a few days (or weeks) and use this new lightning sync and charge cable from Candywirez. As of this post, I have used it once for charging (last night) and so far, I’ve had no problems with it whatsoever.
The candywirez Lightning Sync and Charge cable is 5ft (1.5m) long so it’s about 18 inches longer than the stock iPhone charging cable. This is a huge improvement for me because I can’t tell you how many times the stock cable’s “shortness” has upset me before. I can’t even charge my iPhone on my desk because my power outlet is way down near the floor so it usually lies on the floor when I charge. But with this new charging cable from candywirez, I have a lot of leeway to move or use my phone while charging.
Also worth nothing is the rubbery feel of the cable itself. It feels sturdy enough yet comfortable to hold. The wire is also a little fatter than Apple’s stock cable so it lends a bit of toughness to it. I also love that it has this metallic protective coating on both ends which feels more secure and more durable.
And if you love bright, loud colors then you’d be glad to know that it comes in spunky, pastel colors to fit your unique taste! I got the Lime colored cable and it looks awesome when plugged to my black iPhone 5 and if you have a white iPhone all the better because practically any color would go well with it!
One more thing I like about Candywirez Lightning Sync and Charge cable is that unlike my stock cable, this one doesn’t heat up even during long charging sessions (charging and using phone at the same time).
So far, it’s been a wonderful experience. I will be using this as my main charging/sync cable while my old cable will stay in the car’s glove compartment as backup. So if you’re looking for a reliable, durable and pretty sync/charging cable, I happily suggest getting Candywirez! It’s well worth every penny!
This is probably the longest product testing I’ve ever done here at RJMarmol.com but also undoubtedly the most rewarding on a personal level. You see, I don’t normally immerse myself (for as long as this, which is almost 4 months) with products/services/apps that I review because I always want to maintain a considerable distance, so to speak — just to make sure my reviews aren’t biased in some way. But I have to tell you that this service had so much impact on my daily life that looking back now, I can’t believe I actually survived without it.
Please don’t tell me you still suffer in silence while you wait for hours inside any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) bank branch? That’s so 2012!
Don’t you just wish you can go inside the bank, be served in about 5-10 minutes OR LESS and then be off on your merry way to where it’s more fun to stay for hours??
Well, YOU CAN! But since this is a bureaucratic country, you know you gotta have the right connections to get what you want, right? And this is why I want to introduce you to BEA. BEA, my dears is not an actual person, it’s an acronym for BPI Express Assist. You might have seen BEA pop-up in your favorite BPI bank branches — the one that looks like an ATM but is actually just a fancy ticket-dispenser giving you your virtual queue number so you don’t have to actually stand (assuming there are enough chairs for everyone) while you wait in line.
Now, BEA inside BPI banks is a nice addition to the service. After all, once you get your ticket, you’re in effect, guaranteed a spot. So if you realized they’re still serving #022 and you’re #099, you know you can always choose to go for a stroll in the nearby park or mall to kill time and come back (hopefully) just in time for your turn. That sounds like enough relief but in practice, it still wastes a lot of your precious time!
Thankfully, there’s a better BEA out there — and surprise, surprise — it’s a virtual/online version that’s both smarter and kinder to your feet. This virtual/online BEA (BPI Express Assist) can be accessed as an add-on feature for BPI Express clients currently enrolled with their online banking service at BPIExpressOnline.com. If you’re an unregistered client, head on over to that website and register. You’re clearly missing out on a lot of add-on features!
Now assuming you’ve had yourself registered and logged-in, I’ll walk you through the entire process of getting your virtual ticket from the online BEA facility. But first: a word from our sponsors! Nah, I’m just kidding. First, I’ll tell you how extremely wonderful it is to have online BEA in your life especially if you’re compelled to do a lot of on-site bank transactions.
1. Using online BEA makes you a ninja! You’re in and then you’re out, in minutes if not seconds! :)
2. Once your number gets called and you get served, you will get jaw-dropping stares from other bank clients who were there hours before you went in and will stay there for (hopefully not) hours more after you go. Almost everyone would think you’re some kind of VIP or Preferred Client. Hey, maybe you are!
3. Once you try online BEA, you’ll never go offline/on-site BEA ever again. They’re worlds apart!
